Job summary

HCLTech in London is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead software development initiatives and oversee patch and vulnerability management programs. You will ensure timely releases, updates, and security patches with minimal disruption to operations.

The role demands bridging technical understanding with strong execution, coordinating across development, QA, DevOps, and security, and managing scope, timelines, budgets, and risks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience, including software development projects.
• Experience in patch management or vulnerability remediation programs.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and change management.
• Familiarity with patch tooling (SCCM/MECM, WSUS, Ansible, Tanium, Qualys, Rapid7).
• Proficient with project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project).
• Excellent stakeholder communication and risk management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and deliver software projects using Agile/Scrum or hybrid methods.
• Own scope, timelines, budgets, and resources across the SDLC.
• Coordinate with developers, QA, DevOps, and product owners to remove blockers.
• Manage sprint ceremonies and release planning.
• Report status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
