Adepta Partners in Holywood is seeking a Software Project Manager to drive large-scale digital initiatives on-site. You will lead discovery, run agile ceremonies and ensure delivery aligns with customer needs. You’ll work in an open, collaborative environment and oversee growth opportunities within a fast-growing UK public sector-focused firm.

The role emphasizes agile delivery, cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement across teams to meet project goals and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in an agile project environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead discovery or early-phase project activities.
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams (e.g., designers, developers, product owners, analysts).
• Experience supporting teams through the full agile delivery lifecycle.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Warm, friendly, and collaborative working style with a focus on team empowerment.

Responsibilities

• Leading the Discovery Phase to establish project scope, objectives, risks, constraints, and high-level timelines.
• Developing and maintaining project plans, milestones, resource allocations, and risk logs.
• Closely collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements, align expectations, and ensure a shared understanding of desired outcomes.
• Identifying opportunities to refine processes, improve team dynamics, and enhance delivery outcomes.
• Promoting an environment of collaboration, transparency and high-quality communication.
• Championing agile ways of working and helping mature agile capability across the organisation.
• Building strong, positive relationships with team members, stakeholders, and customers.
