Job summary

Montash is seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to drive a large-scale digital transformation in the UK utilities sector. The role demands coordinating data engineers, SMEs, suppliers, and innovation specialists to deliver asset intelligence initiatives and AI-enabled pilots.

The position is initially 3 months with a high likelihood of extension, requiring 1–2 days onsite and flexibility. You will manage timelines, budgets, and governance while ensuring regulatory and cyber security

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large-scale digital transformation projects.
• Strong stakeholder management across technical and regulatory audiences.
• Familiar with Agile frameworks and governance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of Asset Intelligence initiatives, including digital twins, asset monitoring, network optimisation, and predictive analytics pilots.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams data engineers, operational SMEs, suppliers, and innovation specialists.
• Maintain Agile delivery cadences to accelerate development and support iterative release.
• Facilitate testing and validation of new technologies, including computer vision, ML analytics, IoT/telemetry, and AI-based decision support.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and resources using Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Act as key point of contact between internal departments and external parties (contractors, regulators, customers).
• Manage stakeholder expectations across technical and non-technical audiences via clear reporting and updates.
• Ensure data-driven solutions comply with data governance, cyber security, and operational integrity standards.
• Maintain project documentation, RAID logs, and delivery boards (Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello).
• Drive adherence to regulatory, safety, and QA standards, including audits and readiness reviews.
• Support transition of pilot technologies into scaled BAU deployment.
