Software Project Manager Wanted!

Miller Maxwell is assisting an international Financial Software Vendor in hiring a Software Project Manager. With growth in the US, they have several key software engineering delivery projects scheduled for 2025, 2026, and beyond.

As a Software Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering client-based software solutions. Your expertise in managing software projects will ensure seamless implementation and high client satisfaction, especially with your background in financial software and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage end-to-end software projects, from planning to deployment.
  2. Guide teams effectively using your project management experience.
  3. Deliver financial software solutions addressing industry challenges.
  4. Champion Agile methodologies for optimal project execution.
  5. Collaborate with developers, QA, designers, and stakeholders.
  6. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  7. Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  8. Identify and mitigate risks using Agile techniques.
  9. Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of commercial software project management experience.
  • Experience working with software engineers, developers, and architects.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills.
