Job summary
Advanced Resource Managers Ltd in Reading seeks a Software Project Engineer to support technical delivery of Software Factory projects. You will coordinate activities across engineering teams, manage risks, and provide technical leadership through the project lifecycle.
Candidates must hold a high level UK Security Clearance. The contract is 6 months with rates up to £80 per hour Inside IR35, requiring strong DevOps/CI/CD experience and Azure DevOps familiarity.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
- Strong experience in software, systems, or platform engineering projects.
- Experience in software delivery environments.
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and planning skills.
- Microsoft Azure DevOps Certification - desirable.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate technical activities across engineering teams and stakeholders.
- Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and technical interfaces.
- Support project plans, technical roadmaps, reporting, and forecasting.
- Provide technical leadership and first-level decision-making.
- Act as the escalation point for engineering issues.
- Ensure adherence to engineering processes and standards.
- Facilitate technical reviews and milestone assessments.
