Job summary
Advanced Resource Managers Limited is seeking a Software Project Engineer in Reading on a 6-month contract. The role requires leading technical delivery, coordinating activities across engineering teams and managing risks and dependencies. A high level of UK Security Clearance is required.
The successful candidate will drive technical plans, roadmaps and forecasts while providing leadership and serving as the escalation point for engineering issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Degree required in engineering, computer science, IT or related field.
- Experience in software, systems or platform engineering projects.
- Experience in software delivery environments.
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication and planning.
- Azure DevOps certification desirable.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate technical activities across engineering teams and stakeholders.
- Manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and technical interfaces.
- Support project plans, technical roadmaps, reporting and forecasting.
- Provide technical leadership and first-level decision-making.
- Act as escalation point for engineering issues.
- Ensure adherence to engineering processes and standards.
- Facilitate technical reviews and milestone assessments.
