Job summary

MBDA is offering a Software Modelling Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship in Stevenage. You will study toward a fully funded BSc (Hons) in Digital and Technology Solutions Software Engineer at Cranfield MK:U, while gaining hands-on experience in model development for weapon systems.

The role includes a £19,500 salary plus a £3,000 joining bonus, travel support, and study leave. Applicants must meet GCSE/A-level criteria and UK security requirements. Training spans four years with rotations.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including English, Maths and a Science/Tech subject.
• STEM qualifications at A-level, BTEC or T-Level with strong maths/engineering basics.
• Demonstrated interest in system modelling and engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Help build and validate system models for MBDA products.
• Learn to develop real-time and simulation models across product lifecycles.
• Collaborate with engineers to verify performance and guide design decisions.
