Job summary

Capula offers a Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship in Embedded Electronic Systems Design & Development. You will study towards a BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering while gaining hands-on industry experience.

The programme includes rotations through manufacturing, software design, testing, and hardware design at Capula, with formal QESH exposure and real engineering project work. Academic sessions are arranged with Staffordshire University, combining block sessions or weekly releases,

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualifications in a STEM subject (A‑levels, BTEC, T‑Level, or equivalent)
• GCSE Maths & English at Grade 4/C or above
• Must already live within 30 minutes of Capula’s Stone office

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing: practical hands-on experience building and coding control system components
• Software Design Engineering: assisting with real software solutions for industrial control systems
• Testing: hands-on experience in software inspection, panel testing, and validation
• Quality, Environment, Health & Safety: gaining awareness of QESH standards in engineering delivery
• Hardware Design
