Job summary

Computacenter in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Software Licence Management professional to support daily delivery, maintain records, and provide accurate insights for compliance, renewals and service delivery.

You will work with Snow or similar tools, analyse inventory and usage data, generate reports and dashboards, and collaborate across teams to drive cost savings and licence utilisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in Software Licence Management, software licensing, or related analytics.
• Working knowledge of licensing concepts; exposure to Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Adobe or Veritas beneficial.
• Comfort with data, spreadsheets, reporting, and licence-management tools; strong attention to detail.
• Understanding of discovery, inventory, entitlements, reconciliation, software usage and reharvesting.
• Organised, customer-focused, with clear communication and ownership of analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support the Licence Manager, delivering day-to-day Software Licence Management services.
• Maintain accurate licence, entitlement, contract, application and renewal records.
• Collect, validate and reconcile inventory, discovery, usage, purchase and entitlement data.
• Use Snow or equivalent tools to support licence positions, compliance and optimisation.
• Produce reports, dashboards, data extracts and evidence for service reviews, renewals and audits.
• Identify unused software and cost-saving opportunities and improve licence utilisation.
• Respond to routine customer and internal queries, escalating complex licensing matters appropriately.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver a dependable service.
