Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a Software Licence Analyst to join the IT services team in the UK. You will support day-to-day Software Licence Management, maintaining records and data integrity across entitlements, inventories and renewals.

The role involves working with Snow or equivalent tools to ensure compliance, metering and optimisation, and collaborating with procurement and reporting teams to deliver a reliable service. A strong eye for detail and ownership of analysis is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Software Licence Management or related analytic role.
• Knowledge of software licensing concepts; exposure to major vendors beneficial.
• Data handling, spreadsheets, reporting and licence-management tooling with high attention to detail.
• Understanding of discovery, inventory, entitlements, reconciliation and software usage.

Responsibilities

• Support Licence Manager in day-to-day delivery of Software Licence Management services.
• Maintain accurate licence, entitlement, contract, application and renewal records.
• Collect, validate and reconcile inventory, discovery, usage and entitlement data.
• Use Snow or equivalent tools to support licence positions, compliance checks and metering.
• Produce reports, dashboards, data extracts and evidence for service reviews and audits.
• Identify unused software and cost-saving opportunities; improve licence utilisation.
• Respond to routine queries and escalate complex licensing matters appropriately.
• Collaborate with service, customer, procurement and reporting teams to deliver dependable service.
