Job summary

LTM is seeking a specialist to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Core Java, ReactJS, and cloud-native technologies. This permanent full-time role is based in London or Warsaw, with three days in the office and hybrid work.

You will leverage Kubernetes and AWS, build RESTful APIs and gRPC interfaces, work with Kafka and Apache Ignite, and mentor peers while aligning solutions with investment banking domain requirements.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience in Core Java, React, and cloud-native technologies.
• Mandatory skills in AWS Infra Services, GCP DevOps, Java, and Kafka.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Amazon AWS services.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and gRPC.
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and state management tools like Redux or Context API.
• Experience with Apache Ignite for in-memory data grid and caching solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Core Java, ReactJS, and associated frameworks.
• Develop and maintain cloud-native applications leveraging Kubernetes and Amazon AWS services.
• Build efficient and scalable solutions using multithreading, algorithms, and data structures.
• Implement RESTful APIs and gRPC for backend and frontend integration.
• Build responsive UI components using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and state management tools.
• Integrate Kafka for event streaming and real-time data processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues to optimize performance and reliability.
• Document application design, architecture, and operational procedures.
• Lead development initiatives across the React, Java, and cloud-native technology stack.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using Kubernetes and AWS.
• Mentor junior developers on Core Java, ReactJS, Kafka, Apache Ignite, and cloud-native best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.
• Optimize application performance and scalability based on monitoring and feedback.
• Resolve production issues to maintain high system availability.
• Apply investment banking domain knowledge, particularly in risk management, to align technical solutions with business needs.

Salary: £47,500 - 75,500 per year
