Job summary

Cubestech Ltd in Scotland is seeking a senior Java developer to design, build, and maintain robust Java-based applications across domains. You will deliver secure, scalable solutions and own projects from requirements to deployment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, apply best practices in testing and delivery, and leverage Spring, Kubernetes, and modern front-end tools as needed to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Core Java with a strong understanding of functional programming concepts.
• At least 5 years with Spring, Spring REST, Spring Boot, and JPA.
• Minimum 2 years deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes.
• 2+ years working with Angular and React UI frameworks.
• 5+ years of deep expertise in JUnit and integration testing.
• 3+ years of SQL experience with efficient queries.
• Solid understanding of Agile practices and principles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
• Strong grasp of software design principles and patterns.
