Job summary
Client Server seeks an Software Engineering Manager / Team Lead to guide multi-disciplinary teams delivering complex software for the insurance domain. You will balance hands-on engineering with people leadership and operational excellence.
The role focuses on modern engineering practices, cloud/SaaS adoption, automation and DevSecOps, while enabling scalable, secure software and strong developer experience. Hybrid WFH model in Reigate.
Qualifications
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary Agile product engineering teams.
- Hands-on engineering background with C#/.Net.
- Understanding of modern software engineering principles incl. security, CI/CD.
- Experience growing teams and leading transformation initiatives across engineering effectiveness.
- Strong leadership, motivation and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead development, release and continuous improvement of products.
- Collaborate with Architects, Senior Engineers, Product, Platform, Security and Operations.
- Shape robust technical solutions and cloud/SaaS evolution.
- Drive engineering metrics to improve delivery flow, quality and reliability.
- Recruit and develop engineers, coaching technical leaders.
