Job description

This is a unique opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join a tech start-up in Manchester that’s looking to IPO in the next 3-5 years.

The company is on a mission to deliver a fairer future for all and they help businesses use AI to make great decisions which drive growth, increase profitability, and improve sustainability.

Since forming in 2015 they’ve already raised over £100m in funding and have grown to over 200 people. The next step in their journey is to expand their existing platform and grow internationally so they’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the development of an exciting new product offering.

As an Engineering Manager, you’d run 1-2 squads and would become part of the leadership team working alongside other Engineering Managers to create the best possible working culture.

The existing group are very open minded, they work as integrated, multi-disciplinary product teams who value diversity and teamwork over individual heroics, and work alongside product, data and delivery professionals.

This is a hands-off role but the teams work with the following tech:

• TypeScript, Node, React

The money is good too – up to £75,000 plus benefits including regular flexible/remote working and equity in the business which could potentially be worth a life changing sum of money.
