Job summary

Babcock International in Bristol offers a Digital and Technology Solutions Apprenticeship blending hands-on software engineering with academic study for a BSc (Hons) in Digital and Technology Solutions at the University of Exeter.

You will work across design offices, labs and workshops on projects in submarine systems, communications and security, following an Agile/AI-enabled development lifecycle with mentorship to build skills and career progression.

Qualifications

• GCSEs: minimum five at grade C/4 or above, or equivalent.
• Three A Levels at grade B or above, preferably in Maths/Science/IT.
• BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma at DDM or above.
• Level 4 Digital Apprenticeship completed.
• Strong IT proficiency and familiarity with HTML and web tech.
• Security clearance may apply (BPSS/SC) and UK national status required.

Responsibilities

• Work on real software engineering projects from day one.
• Study for a BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions with Exeter.
• Develop software across the full lifecycle with Agile and AI-assisted approaches.
