About The Role

Airbus Operations Limited is looking for a Ground Support Systems Analyst to join the A400M Line Maintenance team at RAF Brize Norton. This role focuses on analysing and enhancing the performance of Ground Support Systems (GSS) software used in managing a fleet of A400M military aircraft. The successful candidate will support the operational continuity and airworthiness of aircraft by ensuring data integrity, managing reference information, and improving the software environment in collaboration with engineering and support teams.

This is a full-time position requiring eligibility for UK Security Clearance due to work within Ministry of Defence establishments and ITAR restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, manage, and assure data integrity within GSS software to support airworthiness requirements
• Support the implementation and validation of new software versions and upgrades, including regression testing
• Perform audits of reference data and maintain the MDS system including aircraft and configuration updates
• Respond to investigations and incidents within the Q-Pulse system
• Collaborate with internal teams including CAMO, Part M, and P145 to manage issues affecting airworthiness
• Provide technical support during coordination with international stakeholders and program partners
• Identify performance trends and propose solutions to enhance system capability and efficiency
• Participate in the design and improvement of tools, processes, and procedures related to GSS operations
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience with IT systems and tools such as Excel, Access, XML, SQL, and PL/SQL
• Knowledge of software engineering and development processes
• Familiarity with aviation maintenance or military aircraft systems is an asset
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multinational and cross-functional teams
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance
