Job summary

TreQ in Milton, UK seeks a Software Engineer (C#/.NET worker services) to build a quantum orchestrator that talks to external hardware and software. You’ll automate deployments on clean Ubuntu environments with Docker and Systemd, and establish CI workflows.

The role emphasizes code reviews, self-managed sprint tasks, and robust APIs. Familiarity with .NET worker services, EF, SignalR or Blazor, plus Python, will help you succeed in a small, mission‑driven team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in .NET and C#, including worker services and APIs.
• Experience with container deployments using Docker on Ubuntu.
• Familiarity with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and modern deployment workflows.
• Knowledge of EF, SignalR, or Blazor is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, document, and maintain quantum orchestration and integration solutions (C# worker services) interfacing with external hardware.
• Automate deployments on Ubuntu environments using Docker and Systemd; maintain CI workflows.
• Participate in peer code reviews and manage sprint tasks in a fast-moving team.
