Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and Django for web development.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices and automated testing.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with React, Node.js and containerisation concepts.
• Understanding of database design and performance considerations.
• Degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Write, test and maintain high-quality, secure and reliable code
• Implement features aligned to engineering standards and architectural direction
• Contribute to automated testing and continuous improvement of the codebase
• Contribute to feature-level design discussions and solution proposals
• Apply system design principles under guidance from senior engineers and architects
• Participate in peer code reviews and apply coding standards and best practices
• Deliver work items from design through development, testing and deployment
• Provide estimates and communicate progress or blockers
• Troubleshoot issues in development, integration and production environments
• Work with Product, QA, DevOps, UI/UX and Architecture partners
• Communicate design considerations and technical trade-offs
• Learn from team members and share learnings with teammates
