Job summary

Nub News in the United Kingdom is seeking a Mid-level Software Engineer to join our in-house team in Leamington Spa. You will build new backend services using TypeScript, Node.js and AWS, migrating functionality from legacy .NET applications and delivering features in a modern, serverless, event-driven architecture.

The role focuses on APIs, backend services and integrations, with regular code reviews and live-system support.

Qualifications

• Experience building APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Proficient with AWS and serverless architectures.

• Familiarity with SQL and DynamoDB.

Most of your time will be spent building new services using TypeScript, Node.js and AWS, alongside helping migrate functionality from a a couple of existing .NET applications.We are looking for a mix of both Node.js Typescript and AWS experience ideally working in serverless event driven architecture (bonus if you've worked with AWS tooling like EKS/ECS, EC2, Eventbridge, Lambda etc).
