The Role: Software Engineer (Fullstack)

We are building out Nifty's engineering team and are looking for contributors to the codebase. You’ll have the opportunity to build the frontier of this emerging field and develop tools for the digital collectible space. This hands-on role involves collaborating with talented, creative colleagues to build the foundation of Nifty Gateway. An ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for improving user experience, translating design frameworks into code, and collaborating across teams to realize a shared artistic vision.

Responsibilities:

• Remove roadblocks, streamline processes, and develop team members.
• Refactor and maintain core systems to scale effectively.
• Deliver projects with high standards of coding and punctuality.
• Understand business objectives and implement features to grow our customer base.
• Troubleshoot technical issues leveraging deep system knowledge.
• Collaborate with team members on critical app components.
• Embrace our DevOps culture: build and run your own features.
• Work well cross-functionally and build trust across levels.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years experience as a full-stack software engineer at scale.
• Ability to write secure, efficient code in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer and product-focused mindset, understanding the 'why' behind decisions.
• Operate independently, with attention to detail and organized results delivery.
• Prefer simple solutions over complex ones.
• Enjoy working with diverse teams.
• Comfortable managing chaos.
• Familiar with tech stack: TypeScript, React, styled-components, Python, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, MySQL, Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, pytest, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, GitHub, CircleCI, Next.js (Preferred), AR/VR (Preferred).
