• Realtime and historical traffic data services
• Map data processing
• Mobility data calculation

What you’ll do:

Work as part of a small team building and testing scalable, reliable, and efficientdata driven systems.

Work on high profile systems that substantially impact the company's bottom line.

Work with partner teams to regularly deploy and monitor these systems to ensure optimum up time with minimal impact to customers.

We’re a small company with a broad reach and must think creatively to make things efficient, deal with the variabilities of the real world, and solve customer problems. Got ideas? We want to hear them.

About you:

Software Engineer with2+ years of experience inproductionlevel software development, architecture and designare a plus.

Solid codingskills,including proficiency inJavaand at least a basic understanding of Python

Familiaritywith databases(relational, document and key-value),and associated query languages, such as SQL.

Familiaritybuilding services andREST based APIs for internal and external data delivery.

Familiarity one or more of the following would also be beneficial:

• Scala
• AWS services like Kinesis, RDS,Elasticache, S3, Athena, Data pipeline, Glue, Lambda, EMR, Spark, EC2, ECS, CloudWatch or Elastic Beanstalk
• Jenkins or similar tools would also be a plus

A team player - we highly regard collaboration.

Knowledgeorwillingness to learn about dealing with big data.

Bachelor or advanced degree in computer science, mathematics, or related discipline preferred.
