WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week at our London hub.

In the Machine Learning as a Service lab, we design, build, and operate the bank's Machine Learning, Data Science, and Analytics platforms. Our work includes software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, automation, and tooling.

Practice scrum in a small engineering team within our Lab.
Automate software and infrastructure delivery with technologies like Terraform, Python, Jenkins, Harness, and Cloud Build.
Build and improve an ML cloud platform on GCP.
Gain exposure to native Google tooling including GKE, BigQuery, Vertex AI, Cloud Build, and more.
Build, test, and deploy customised Workbench Instances.
Build scalable software using Python.
Support Data Science teams to productionise their models on GCP.
Innovate by discovering new tools, methods, and approaches.
Use your knowledge and experience to help shape our overarching strategy.
Coach other engineers and steer the design of our software.

What you’ll need

Specifically we're looking for:
technical knowledge of DevOps tooling, including continuous integrationtooling pipelines and containerisation
solid knowledge of the Google cloud platform with specific experience in integrating and deploying the Vertex AI components
experience with GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Build and Harness
demonstrable knowledge of terraform and Python
the ability to build strong relationships and demonstrate a passion forsolving real-world problems with technology
