G-Research invites talented software engineering students to join a 12-week summer internship from our London HQ. You will work across platforms supporting quantitative research, writing production-level code and collaborating with experienced engineers from day one.

The role offers onboarding, dedicated mentoring, and exposure to both legacy and cutting-edge technologies, with opportunities to deepen financial domain knowledge and participate in company events.

Competenze

• Pursuing a 2:1 or higher in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Graduating in 2028 and in penultimate year.
• Experience with OO languages such as C#, Java or C++.

Mansioni

• Designing and delivering high-quality, maintainable code to work with large and complex datasets.
• Supporting and evolving production platforms and research tools.
• Partnering with quantitative researchers to understand and improve data quality and value.
• Developing and optimising database queries and the underlying infrastructure.
• Enhancing internal tools and data processing pipelines used at scale.
