Job summary

JPMorganChase is offering an Early Careers Software Engineer Intern position in Glasgow. You will join a collaborative team, design and test software, and grow through mentorship and formal training.

You’ll gain experience across digital applications and systems used globally while learning industry best practices and secure coding standards. You will work with peers and senior engineers to deliver reliable solutions, using AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and code quality

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with expected graduation between January 2029 and July 2029.
• Demonstrate oral and written fluency in English.
• Familiar with writing secure, high-quality code in at least one language.

Responsibilities

• Develop skills through ongoing training and mentorship.
• Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot software solutions.
• Write secure, high-quality code following established standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, managers, and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally about problems and solutions.
• Leverage approved AI development tools to improve quality and productivity.
• Apply automation and modern tooling across the software lifecycle.
