Job summary

Search AI Company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Security EDR Workflows team. You will help build workflows and user-facing capabilities that empower Defend agent protection and incident response at scale.

You will collaborate with security engineering, product and design, write production-grade TypeScript/Node.js code, and apply AI to accelerate development. This role involves working with a globally distributed team and high-visibility security features.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Node.js and React.js; Typescript is a plus.
• Willingness to work with AI-assisted development and security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Implement features powering the Search AI Company Defend UI capabilities.
• Contribute to the architecture of the Defend management and response actions framework with OSquery forensics capabilities.
• Develop scalable, high-performance systems within the Search AI Company ecosystem.
• Write production-grade code in Typescript/Node.js as part of a high-quality, well-tested codebase.
• Collaborate with other Search AI Company engineering teams on cross-team efforts.
• Assist in engineering standards, tooling and processes improvements driven by AI usage.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Work with a globally distributed team focused on Defend and OSquery capabilities from Kibana perspective.
• Collaborate with team members on large product features.
• Leverage AI to accelerate development work and problem solving.
