Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Software Engineer for the Security EDR Workflows team to build workflows and user-facing capabilities for Elastic Defend agents. You will work with security engineering teams, product and design to deliver robust, high-scale features across Kibana.

You will develop in TypeScript/Node.js, leverage AI to solve problems, and participate in code reviews while collaborating with a distributed team across time zones.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of Node.js and React.js; TypeScript is a plus.
Ability to leverage AI for problem solving and ramping up quickly.
Comfortable collaborating across time zones and giving/receiving feedback.

Responsibilities

Implement features powering Elastic Defend UI capabilities.
Contribute to architecture of management and response actions framework with OSQuery forensics.
Develop scalable, high-performance systems within the Elastic ecosystem.
Write production-grade code in TypeScript/Node.js in a high-quality, well-tested codebase.
Collaborate with other Elastic engineering teams on cross-team initiatives.
Contribute to engineering standards, tooling, and process improvements driven by AI.
