Job summary

Motability Operations is seeking a Software Engineer to join a growing cross-functional team building software for internal and external customers. You will focus on delivering working software in an agile environment, embracing TDD, automation, and a run mindset to ensure supportability and maintainability.

The role requires considerable commercial Java experience and familiarity with Spring Boot, React/Node.js frontend work, PostgreSQL, messaging (ActiveMQ/Kafka), CI/CD, and cloud platforms

Qualifications

• Proven commercial Java experience with modern frameworks.
• Aptitude for building great software and willingness to learn.
• Experience in agile product delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Join an agile product team delivering software for internal and external customers.
• Collaborate with Engineers, QA, BA, PO and Scrum Master to ship features.
• Embrace TDD, automation and good testing principles.
