Job summary

Reporting to the Lead Software Engineer, you will write software in .NET/C#/WPF to coordinate motion, vision and laser systems, design user interfaces, handle feedback, and provide after-sales support.

Qualifications

• 2:1 or higher degree in electronic engineering, software engineering or similar.
• At least 3 years’ industrial experience in a relevant technical role.
• Experienced with both software and hardware systems.

Responsibilities

• Write software to communicate with motion, vision and laser systems to coordinate their function.
• Manage and process feedback from the system.
• Design intuitive and user-friendly user interfaces.
• Software development for new projects and ownership of software elements.
• Fault finding during commissioning and deployment.
• Provide after-sales support and communicate with customers to determine software requirements.
• Maintain source control repositories.
