Job summary

TechMet Ltd. in the Ballymena area is seeking a Graduate/Software Engineer to join a specialist design and manufacturing facility. You will contribute to automation solutions for pharma/medical device applications, with exposure to vision systems, robotics, and HMI.

Ideal candidates will hold an Engineering degree or HND and have manufacturing or practical experience. The role offers extensive in-house training and progression, plus travel opportunities across the UK, Europe, and beyond.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in Engineering or equivalent in software or electrical discipline
• Ability to discuss previous manufacturing or practical experience at interview
• Knowledge of robotics, vision systems and HMI is advantageous; Ethernet/comms knowledge useful

Responsibilities

• Discuss potential PLC/Automation roles with TechMet NI during confidential chats
• Attend interviews and contribute to automation project discussions across NI and beyond

Exciting opportunity for a Graduate/Software Engineer to join a specialist design and manufacturing facility in Ballymena area. This company is a leader in its field, developing automation solutions for complex applications in the pharma/medical device industry.

Ideal candidates will likely be:

• Degree/HND qualified in Engineering or equivalent software/ electrical discipline
• Candidates must be able to provide some previous expertise in a manufacturing or a practical setting which they can discuss at interview.
• Vision systems experience would be advantageous
• Knowledge of Robotics, HMI, Ethernet, Communications protocols would also be useful but candidates must be able to provide some previous expertise in a manufacturing or a practical setting which they can discuss at interview.
