Job summary

Motorola Solutions UK Limited in London is seeking an experienced frontend/software engineer to design, develop, and maintain our Alta Video UI components. You will work with Vue 3, Pinia, TypeScript, and Go in a fast-paced environment across London and nearby offices.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript; knowledge of modern frontend frameworks preferred.
• Understanding of application state patterns and data flows (Pinia, Vuex, Redux).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and websockets.
• Solid grounding in web development principles and data structures.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

Salary: £50,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of software engineering experience
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and ideally modern frontend frameworks
• Understanding of application state patterns and data flows such as Pinia, Vuex, or Redux
• Experience with reactivity or observables
• Hands‑on experience with RESTful APIs and websockets
• Solid understanding of web development principles
• Good foundation in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
• Ability to understand the long‑term implications of technical solutions
• Demonstrated teamwork and willingness to collaborate with others
