Job summary

PBSC UK designs and manufactures bespoke cleanroom and high-containment systems and seeks an EC&I / Automation Engineer to join its growing team. The role supports development from initial design through testing and commissioning, collaborating with mechanical, electrical and project engineers.

The successful candidate will contribute to PLC programming, HMI work, electrical design, and technical documentation, whilst gaining experience across the full project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree/HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Automation, or a related discipline.
• Interest in industrial automation and control systems.
• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• PLC programming experience (Rockwell, Siemens, or similar)

The Role

We are looking for an EC&I / Automation Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role would suit a graduate, postgraduate, or early-career engineer looking to develop their skills in industrial automation, electrical design, and control systems.

You will work alongside experienced mechanical, electrical, and project engineers, supporting the development of bespoke equipment from initial design through to testing and commissioning.
