Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a software engineer to maintain and enhance desktop and cloud applications within the E3D development group. You will work in scrum teams, deliver features on request, analyse issues, and drive quality through automation and refactoring.

Proficiency in Fortran, C#, C++, or PML is preferred, with familiarity in GIT and Azure DevOps. The role supports a hybrid working model, with on-site collaboration and remote work as appropriate, in a busy industrial software environment in

• Proficient in debugging and maintaining software systems.
• Experience with modern software development practices and iterative delivery.
• Ability to analyse requirements from Product Owner and translate into working features.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement functional features as per Product Owner requests.
• Analyse, investigate and debug issues found both internally and externally (customers).
• Drive quality via automated testing, refactoring, and best practices.
• Demonstrate effective workload management to ensure timely delivery.
