Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Software Development Engineer to maintain and enhance applications supporting desktop and cloud solutions. You will join the E3D development group in a hybrid role (Home Office or Cambridge) and contribute to iterative delivery within scrum teams across engineering disciplines.

You will design features, investigate issues, and promote quality through automated testing and refactoring, working with Fortran, C#, C++, and PML in a modern industrial software environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with modern software development practices in industrial environments.
• Comfortable applying agile/scrum methodologies to software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement functional features per Product Owner requests.
• Analyse, investigate and debug issues from internal teams and customers.
• Promote quality through automated testing, architectural refactoring and best practices.
• Demonstrate sound decision making on workloads to ensure timely delivery.
