Job summary

E-Resourcing is seeking a Software Engineer in Sutton for a 6+ month contract. The role focuses on Azure/.NET development, API integration and GenAI features within a modern cloud-native stack. The position combines 2 days in the office with 3 days remote work.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions, deliver end-to-end features, and participate in design reviews within an Agile Scrum environment.

Software Engineer / Developer - Azure / .Net / API's / GenAI

Sutton - 2 days office based, 3 days working remotely

£600-625 per day, outside IR35

6 month+ contract

A global organisation are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with expertise in .Net and Azure development to develop and integrate systems in modern technology, moving away from legacy software.

In this role you will liaise with stakeholders to understand functional requirements and design, estimate, develop, test & release features.

You will work collaboratively with team members on feature delivery (design, code reviews, testing).

Required experience for the role includes:

• Strong, proven experience with Azure, cloud-native approaches, and modern technology stacks.
• Expertise in .NET technologies, including C#.
• Full-stack development experience (from UI through to database).
• Strong application of modern engineering principles and technologies, including: Generative AI, including Specification Driven Development (SDD), API's and REST services, and Continuous engineering practices
• Database engines and technologies (SQL MI, Azure SQL etc.
• Data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, Data Flow, Databricks / Spark (using Python & associated frameworks) and Azure storage (data lake, blob)

You will need an Agile mindset with demonstrated experience working in fully Agile Scrum environments.

This 6 month+ contract role is an excellent opportunity to work on an exciting transformation programme and be responsible for building solutions that delivery real business value.
