Job summary

Harrington Starr is seeking a Software Engineer at associate level to join a hands-on development team in London. You\'ll build and maintain software using C# and/or Java, integrate real-time data from third-party APIs, and work within agile sprints to deliver secure, compliant solutions for trading and operations.

This role offers three days a week in the central London office, a competitive salary (£55k-£65k, with potential to £80k for the right experience), and a strong bonus and benefits

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or trading environments.
• Proficiency in C#, and or Java OOP.
• Experience working with APIs and market data (e.g. Bloomberg, Fidessa).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software using C#, and or Java.
• Integrate real-time and historical data from third-party APIs.
• Follow agile sprint plans and deliver reliable, secure solutions.
• Ensure systems meet regulatory and cybersecurity standards.
