Job summary

Harrington Starr is seeking a Java/Quant Developer for their London Office, focusing on crypto, FX and eFX trading systems. This hands-on role requires strong CS fundamentals and the ability to contribute to high‑performing algorithms in a fast-paced market. You will work on core Java development, market connectivity, low-latency systems and Linux scripting, with a close touch to a trading desk environment. A solid background in multi-threading and TDD/BDD is essential.

Harrington Starr have partnered with an innovative to Software Developer specialising in Crypto, FX and eFX currently developing high-performing trading systems. We’re looking for a skilled Java or Quant Developer with a strong background in computer-science to contribute to the development of future algorithms.

The role provides an exciting, hands-on engineering role for those with a knack for solving difficult problems whilst also offering exposure to the modern technologies and financial markets. You will be directly involved in affecting trading outcomes, so we are looking for an engineer who has operated closely or have great experience in a trading desk.
