Job summary

MASS is seeking a Software Engineer to work on-site in Wiltshire, delivering updates to mission-critical simulation software. You will contribute to design, development and maintenance in Windows and Red Hat Linux environments, and liaise with customers regularly.

The role requires strong C# skills, OO programming, and a proactive approach with the ability to work in a dynamic client-facing environment. Occasional UK travel is possible.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in C# development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design.
• Experience with Visual Studio and related tools.
• Eligible to work and live in the UK and undergo UK security vetting.

Responsibilities

• Design, development and maintenance of existing code solutions.
• Testing and reviewing software applications and supporting documentation.
• Collaborating in a team environment and communicating with customers.
• Contributing to meetings and continuous improvement activities.
• Analyse requirements and document changes for work items.
• Support ongoing maintenance of mission-critical simulation software.
