Albert Bow Limited in London is seeking a Backend / Software Engineer to build the core data platform where performance matters. You’ll work on custom database technology, large-scale search, and streaming ingestion with a hands-on, performance-focused mindset.

£140k-£180k base + stock options | 4 days a week in the office

You'Ve built systems where performance matters. What if you could bring that experience to the data infrastructure behind AI?

A fast-growing AI data platform company is hiring backend engineers to build the core technology that helps AI teams work with massive, complex datasets. The problems are hands-on and performance-critical: custom databases, huge searches, streaming ingestion, and re-synchronising and preprocessing training data.

They're especially interested in engineers from HFT or quantitative trading who have worked on platform or core engineering teams. The opportunity is to take that engineering experience into a fast-moving field, with plenty to build and room to shape the platform.

The work
