Job summary

Coram AI in the United Kingdom is building a cloud-native video security platform. We’re hiring a Software Engineer to design, build, and scale the systems powering our video intelligence solutions.

You’ll collaborate with AI, product, and infrastructure teams to ship features that matter, from backend data ingest to frontend interfaces in TypeScript/React, and to design APIs that connect ML pipelines and edge devices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
Hands-on experience with Golang, Python or C++.
Frontend experience with TypeScript/React.
Design scalable backend systems and APIs.
Experience with distributed systems and cloud-native infra (Kubernetes on AWS, Pulumi).
Strong English communication; startup experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain backend services ingesting, processing, and serving data at scale.
Ship AI-native features end to end using multimodal LLMs and computer vision.
Implement user-facing frontends in TypeScript/React.
Design scalable APIs interfacing with ML pipelines and edge devices.
Collaborate on infrastructure and architecture decisions from the ground up.
Address distributed systems, real-time processing, and high availability challenges.
