Job summary

Coram AI is building a cloud-native video intelligence platform that ingests and processes video and sensor data at scale. You will design, implement, and scale backend services while delivering AI-powered features and robust frontend experiences in TypeScript/React.

You’ll work with AI, product, and infra teams to create scalable APIs, contribute to architecture decisions, and tackle distributed systems challenges in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong experience with Go, Python or C++, and modern frontend stacks TypeScript/React (react-query, Tailwind)
• Experience designing scalable backend systems and APIs
• Comfort with distributed systems, containers and cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes on AWS, Pulumi for IaC)
• Fluency in AI-assisted development and opinion on where it works well
• Startup experience building systems from scratch or scale-up experience
• Strong understanding of performance, reliability, and clean architecture
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Ability to work in an onsite environment

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services ingesting, processing, and serving video and sensor data at scale
• Ship AI-native features end to end: real-time detections, multimodal LLMs, and agentic workflows
• Implement user-facing frontends in TypeScript/React
• Design scalable APIs and systems interfacing with ML pipelines and edge devices
• Collaborate on infrastructure and architecture decisions from the ground up
• Tackle distributed systems, real-time processing, and high availability
