Job summary

Eckoh is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer to join our team in the UK. You will contribute to the development of innovative customer solutions, taking ownership, driving best practices, and collaborating across engineering teams.

In this role, you will build web applications with React and TypeScript, create scalable microservices with Node.js, and work with Kubernetes and ArgoCD to support continuous deployments in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in software development with a focus on TypeScript/JavaScript and React
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining microservices using Node.js
• Proficiency in Git for source control and collaborative development
• Experience with CI/CD principles and automated build, test, and deployment processes
• Experience using regular expressions for pattern matching, validation, and data manipulation
• Strong understanding of Agile practices and software development lifecycle principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to collaborate with stakeholders in a cross-functional team

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Maintain web applications using React and typescript /JavaScript
• Develop scalable Microservices utilizing Node.js
• Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration and ArgoCD for continuous deployments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Write a clean, maintainable and well tested code following Eckoh’s secure coding standards

Skills and Requirements:

• 3+ years' experience in software development, with a strong focus on TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frameworks such as React.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining microservices using Node.js.
• Proficiency in Git for source control and collaborative development.
• Experience with CI/CD principles and pipelines, including automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Experience using regular expressions for pattern matching, validation, and data manipulation.
• Good understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile practices and software development lifecycle principles.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
