ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute across desktop, web, and device-based applications, APIs, and backend services. You will help deliver on-premise and cloud solutions, translate user requirements, and design scalable software with focus on quality and performance.

You will collaborate in a diverse team, contribute documentation, and advance AI-first development practices using React, Flutter, Avalonia, and Blazor.

Job description

Reporting to a Senior Software Engineer, you will work across the full development lifecycle, contributing to desktop, web, and device-based applications, APIs, and backend services. You will play a key role in developing, supporting, and enhancing both on-premise and cloud-based software solutions. Your duties will include delivering new features, improving existing functionality, and troubleshooting issues to ensure high-quality, reliable products. You would also:

• Develop a deep awareness of KAM's products, services, and solutions to deliver software that addresses real customer needs and business challenges.
• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, high-quality, and reusable software solutions that follow best practices.
• Continuously enhance code quality, performance, and test coverage to ensure reliable and maintainable applications.
• Translate user requirements and user stories into effective, functional software deliverables that meet stakeholder needs.
• Collaborate effectively within the team, exchanging technical expertise, contributing documentation, and taking ownership of delivering excellent results., Our expertise in customer journey mapping, innovation, and service design leads to the invention of new solutions that create value for our clients and exceptional experiences for their end users.
