Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer to join the Customer Experience Engineering team. You will work on intelligent conversational and discovery tools, delivering features across web and mobile using React/Vue, Java, and AWS.

You’ll own features end-to-end and collaborate with global teams, applying AI capabilities to improve customer experiences. The role requires at least 3 years of professional software engineering experience, strong HTML/CSS, and a solid grounding in AWS

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Equivalent practical engineering experience will be considered.
• At least 3 years’ professional software engineering experience across full-stack, frontend or backend development.

Full Stack Engineer – AI, Java, React & AWS

2 days onsite | 3 days working from home

We’re recruiting a talented Full Stack Engineer for a global technology company that has transformed how millions of people plan and experience travel.

You’ll join a multidisciplinary Customer Experience Engineering team, developing intelligent conversational and discovery tools that make it easier for customers to find options tailored to their needs.

Working across web and mobile platforms, you’ll deliver high-impact features using modern full-stack technologies, AWS and agentic AI.

What you’ll be working on

• Building intelligent, customer-facing conversational and discovery experiences used at global scale.
• Creating backend-for-frontend services and scalable Java-based web services.
• Designing, building and integrating REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Using AI agents to accelerate engineering delivery and introduce AI capabilities into customer-facing products.
• Translating product requirements into clear technical intents and acceptance criteria.
• Reviewing, testing and refining agent-generated code to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Deploying production services using a tailored AWS technology stack.
• Taking end-to-end ownership of features, from design and development through to testing and release.
• Collaborating with engineers, product partners and stakeholders across multiple international locations.
• At least 3 years’ professional software engineering experience across full-stack, frontend or backend development.
• Experience delivering production-grade web applications across frontend and backend technologies.
• Commercial experience with a modern frontend framework such as React or Vue.js.
• Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Backend development experience using Java or associated Java frameworks.
• Experience building, exposing and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Direct, hands-on experience using AI agents to deliver software features.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into customer-facing products or digital experiences.
• Strong AWS experience, including build and deployment tooling such as CloudFormation.
• Ability to develop comprehensive unit and integration tests across the technology stack.
• Understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases and data-modelling fundamentals.
• Proficiency with Git and modern version-control practices.
• Experience working within Agile, multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong ownership of delivery, code quality and continuous improvement.
• Fluent English and the ability to explain technical subjects to technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Micro frontend and backend-for-frontend architecture.
