Job summary

Digital Skills is seeking an experienced iOS Software Engineer for a 6-month contract in Manchester. The role involves designing, developing and maintaining native iOS apps using Objective-C and Swift, with hybrid working model (2 days in the office, rest remote) and a competitive hourly rate up to £64 inside IR35.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define features, drive architectural decisions and ensure high-quality, scalable mobile experiences for customers at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience with UIKit and SwiftUI in large mobile codebases.
• Strong knowledge of mobile architecture patterns and best practices.
• Experience with TDD and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience integrating APIs and back-end services.
• Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks is beneficial.

• Experience with Fastlane, CocoaPods, Realm and Firebase is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and experience working within agile engineering teams.
