Job summary

Digital Skills ltd in Manchester is seeking an experienced Senior iOS developer to build app-wide features, improve infrastructure and drive technical excellence on an initial 6-month contract.

Role involves Swift and/or Objective-C, end-to-end delivery across the stack, mentoring colleagues and contributing to architectural discussions. Hybrid role: 2 days in the office, remote otherwise, with a rate up to £90/hour (Inside IR35) for a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of iOS SDK experience with hands-on Swift/Objective-C.
• Strong knowledge of iOS development and Apple frameworks.
• Ability to move between web/app development and mobile development.
• Experience with automated testing and deploying iOS apps.
• Familiarity with A/B testing in app development.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills.

• 8+ years of professional software development experience across multiple technologies and programming languages.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, development practices and building scalable applications and services.
• 5+ years of experience working with the iOS SDK, with hands‑on development experience using Swift and/or Objective-C.
• Strong knowledge of iOS development and relevant Apple frameworks.
• Comfortable moving between web/application development and mobile development as part of the same product.
• Experience with automated testing and deploying applications, including iOS apps.
• Familiarity with A/B testing in app development.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail and a focus on delivering high‑quality software.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and comfortable working collaboratively within a technical team.
• A passion for exploring new technologies and finding effective solutions to complex technical challenges.
