Job summary

Consula Group LTD is seeking a driven Software Engineer to join its growing technology team in Manchester. You will contribute to meaningful products in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your ideas are heard and valued.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer in a professional environment.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java or TypeScript.
  • Experience with modern frameworks and tools relevant to your stack.
  • Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a genuine passion for building great software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-quality software solutions.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Collaborating with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver features from concept to production.
  • Participating in code reviews and contributing to a culture of technical rigour and continuous improvement.

  • Contributing to architectural decisions and helping to shape the technical direction of the product.
  • Staying up to date with emerging technologies and best practices.
