Morgan McKinley is seeking a Software Engineer to join a growing technology team within a commodities trading business. Based in London with three days on-site, the role focuses on building pragmatic software that directly impacts trading and automation.

Software Engineer | Python & SQL | Commodities Trading
Location: London - 3 days a week
Salary: up to £70k basic

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join a growing technology team within an established commodities trading business operating across global markets.
This is an opportunity to work in a high-ownership engineering environment where technology has a direct impact on trading, automation and business performance.
You’ll work closely with Trading, Finance and Operations teams to build pragmatic, high-value technology solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to influence engineering practices, solve complex problems and automate processes that directly improve how the business operates.
You’ll have 2+ years’ commercial software development experience, with strong skills in:
Experience working with cloud infrastructure would be advantageous.
Experience that would be a bonus
