Spencer Scott Ltd is recruiting a C# Software Developer for a SaaS/PaaS Insurance Analytics platform. You will work with C# (.NET 6/8), Azure (Functions, App Services, Table/Queue/Blob), and collaborate across actuaries, specialists and developers to deliver analytics-driven software.

This hybrid role is based in Central London with two on-site days. You will champion best practices, testing and SOLID principles, contribute to scalable solutions, and join a multi-disciplinary team including

An opportunity for a C# Software Developer with strong Azure (Azure Functions, App Services, Table/Queue/Blob Storage) to join a SaaS / PaaS Platform Team working on an Insurance Analytics Platform.

Your primarily focus will be on C# collaborating across disciplines, interfacing with actuaries, specialists, and developers to integrate comprehensive analytics into software solutions, enriching the platform's value proposition. You’ll be an advocate of best industry-standard software development practices, code quality, maintainability, and robust testing methodologies to ensure the reliability and scalability of our solutions!

The team is made up of C# Developers, Python Developers, Actuarial Data Scientists, UI Developers, DevOps and SRE’s, Product Managers and QA Engineers!

We’re looking for C# Software Engineers that can demonstrate;

• Strong skills in C# development (.NET 6 / 8)
• Azure PaaS/SaaS offerings (Azure Functions, App Services, Table/Queue/Blob Storage), ASP.NET WebAPI, and database technologies (CosmosDB)
• Software engineering principles such as unit testing, change management control and SOLID principles
• Agile development processes, emphasizing adaptability, collaboration, and a customer-centric approach to software development

The team works on a hybrid model, normally meeting up in the Central London hub 2 days a week. Your colleagues will also be on-site, so there is some meaning, collaboration and value. It will be a 2 stage interview process, which has been designed to be as quick and pain free as possible.
