Job summary

Durlston Partners LLP is seeking Software Engineers to join a seed-stage, deep tech AI start-up emboldened by notable VC backing. You will work on AI for autonomous systems, integrating robots, sensors, vehicles and data to make operations smarter and more reliable.

Day-to-day you’ll write high-quality code across the stack, enjoy early ownership, and learn from a team with backgrounds at Palantir, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs and leading AI labs. Hybrid work with 4 days in the office.

Qualifications

• A strong degree in Computer Science, Maths, Physics or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Production experience in C++, Rust, Python or TypeScript.
• A track record of shipping high-quality software, at any level from graduate to senior.
• Bonus: mapping or geospatial frameworks, network protocols, or AI/ML exposure.
• Right to work required (sponsorship not available).

Software Engineer (C++/Rust/Python/TypeScript)

We’re looking for Software Engineers to join an exciting deep tech AI start-up on the brink of hypergrowth. Currently at seed stage and backed by the VCs behind Anthropic, and is preparing for rapid growth over the next few years, so this is a chance to join early and shape the engineering culture, so now is the moment to get in early and help shape what comes next.

You’ll be at the forefront of AI for autonomous systems, solving a problem that’s holding entire industries back, and building the software that changes that. Rather than replacing existing kit, it sits on top and makes it smarter, bringing robots, sensors, vehicles and data together as one. From mission critical operations to disaster response in the world’s most remote places, your work will make a real difference where it counts.

Role overview

Day to day, you’ll write clean, high quality code across the stack, whether that’s handling high volume data from sensors in the field or building intuitive interfaces for operators.
