Understanding Recruitment is partnering with an AI startup hiring a Software Engineer to own features across Rust services, backend and frontend interfaces. The role uses TypeScript as the main stack with Rust for performance-critical components, based in Hoxton, London, five days a week in the office.

You will work with AI tooling including Claude Code and Cursor to deliver high-quality software quickly, improve the agent's tools and execution framework, and grow into technical leadership as

• Evidence of exceptional engineering ability through projects or achievements.

Responsabilidades

Software Engineer - AI/TypeScript/Rust

Location: Hoxton, London - five days per week in the office.

We're partnering with an AI startup building software to help businesses make better financial and strategic decisions. Their first product bringsAI agents into Excel, helping users build and work with complex financial models.

They're looking for aSoftware Engineer to take ownership of features across the product, working within a small, highly technical team. The stack is primarilyTypeScript , withRust used for performance-critical components.

What you'll be doing

• Own features end-to-end, spanning Rust services, backend systems, and frontend interfaces.
